Please note that the term 『避難勧告』(hinan kankoku)“Evacuation Advisory” will no longer be used from May 20, 2021.

The latest information on weather, disaster, river water levels can be gained from the ‘d button’ on the TV display, websites or mail delivery services of the Japan Meteorological Agency, Saitama Prefectural Government, and each River Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism.
Please see Misato City official website regarding the administrative information from the City. Also, the ‘Evacuation Information’ issued by the City will be announced through the Disaster Prevention Administrative Radio System.

The posters and brochures regarding New 'Evacuation Information' are posted in Japanese and English on the ‘Disaster Management’ page at the website of Cabinet Office. Additional 13 languages including Chinese (in Simplified and Traditional characters), Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Tagalog, Nepali, Khmer, Burmese, Mongolian will be available in early July.
