Admission Procedures for Public Elementary Schools/ 小学校入学手続き

 ‘Notice of School Enrollment’ will be sent out to families residing in Misato City with children born between April 2, 2020 and April 1, 2021.

 If you wish to have your child enroll in a Misato City municipal elementary school, please complete the necessary procedures at School Affaires Division bringing with his/her Residence Card by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

*The elementary school your child will attend is determined by your residing address.

Early September: 

  Receive a ‘Notice of School Enrollment’.  (Wait for the letter to take a procedure.)

By September 30: 

  Take the procedure at School Affairs Division. (Please bring your child’s Residence Card.)

*You will receive a notice on ‘Preschool Health Checkup’ (indicating the name of elementary school, date and time for the checkup) at the division counter.

Around October:

  Preschool Health Checkup

  (Your child needs to receive it at his/her designated district elementary school. If the date is inconvenient to you, please be sure to contact the school of checkup.)

In January:

 Receive a ‘Letter of Admission’.

In February: 

 (A briefing will be given about necessary school supplies for starting school and other information.)

In April: 

  Entrance ceremony
