  Use transparent or translucent plastic bags for waste and take out your waste at your designated waste collection site by 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled day in your area. See “Waste Collection Locations & Days of the Week of Your Area”. Household waste collection is operated under a ‘fully fixed days of the week’ schedule even if the day falls on a national holiday (except for the year-end and New Year holidays).

*Business-related wastes or industrial wastes are not collected at the site. You need to make a contract with a waste service provider separately to collect your waste.

• You are responsible to maintain properly the water supply equipment at home as it belongs to you.
• The repairs performed by Department of Waterworks are limited to the water supply device, therefore the damages to external structures caused by water leak will not be repaired by the Department of Waterworks.

 If a water leak occurs naturally, Department of Waterworks may take care of the repair up to the location of meter box of the individual house or up to the first stopcock of the apartment building.

 Public sewer service is an infrastructure to improve our living environment by hygienically treating wastewater generated from kitchen, toilet, both room and so forth.

 When the public sewers become available in the area of your house, please connect to the public sewer pipe promptly. As rainwater cannot be discharged into the public sewer, it should be discharged into roadside gutters or drainage channels.

  When you order a drainage facility construction, be sure to ask a “Designated plumber in Misato City” to construct it. The bank loan interest may be subsidized under certain conditions for those who borrow the funds for construction from designated financial institutions.

  After your house is connected with the public sewer system, the “Beneficiary payment” of 500 yen per m² of land is charged. In principle, the sewer fee should be paid together with the water bill every two months.
